Ingredients
- 5 ounces udon noodles
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 3/4 ounces grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- Pinch of FlavorGod Himalayan salt & pepper
- Pinch of nutmeg (optional)
- FlavorGod Everything Bagel seasoning
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Fill a medium saucepot with water and add a pinch of FlavorGod Himalayan salt. Bring to a boil.
- 2 Add udon noodles to the boiling water and cook for about 1 minute. Drain the noodles, reserving some pasta water.
- 3 In a saucepan, combine heavy cream and unsalted butter. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, then reduce to low. Let it simmer for 12-15 minutes.
- 4 Turn off the heat and stir in the remaining heavy cream.
- 5 Add a splash of reserved pasta water to the sauce.
- 6 Return the sauce to a simmer over low heat. Add cooked udon noodles, grated Parmesan cheese, and FlavorGod Everything Bagel seasoning.
- 7 Continuously toss the udon noodles with tongs to combine and coat them with the sauce until the cheese is melted.
- 8 Optionally, prepare your choice of protein (such as shrimp) separately with a quick pan sear, and serve atop the Alfredo Udon Noodles.
