INGREDIENTS

  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 1 tbsp tamari sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp FlavorGod Chicken and Waffles seasoning
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup panko seasoning
  • 1 tbsp FlavorGod Honey BBQ seasoning
  • Oil
  • 1/2 cup bbq sauce
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 tsp maple syrup

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. 1 Drain and rinse chickpeas, then add them to a food processor along with sautéed diced onions, tamari sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and FlavorGod Chicken and Waffles seasoning. Pulse until mostly smooth
  2. 2 Transfer the mixture to a medium mixing bowl and add flour. Mix until a dough forms
  3. 3 In a separate shallow dish, mix together panko breadcrumbs and FlavorGod Honey BBQ seasoning
  4. 4 Break off small pieces of the dough and form them into tender shapes. Dip each piece into the reserved chickpea liquid and then the breadcrumb mixture
  5. 5 Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat and add the tenders until lightly browned on both sides
  6. 6 In a separate bowl, mix together melted butter, BBQ sauce and maple syrup. Coat the tenders with the sauce before serving
