INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure it's hot and ready for baking the potatoes.
- 2 Prepare the potatoes: Wash the potatoes thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt. Pat them dry with a paper towel. Poke holes with a fork.
- 3 Coat the potatoes: Place the potatoes on a baking sheet. Drizzle 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil over each potato, and then use your hands to rub the oil evenly all over the potato's surface. This will help the skin become crispy while baking.
- 4 Season the potatoes: Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon of FlavorGod Himalayan Salt & Pink Peppercorn over each oiled potato, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- 5 Bake the potatoes: Place the seasoned potatoes directly on the oven rack or on the baking sheet. Bake for approximately 45-60 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender when pierced with a fork. The exact baking time will depend on the size of the potatoes.
- 6 Prepare the toppings: While the potatoes are baking, you can prepare the toppings. Grate 1 cup of cheese if using a block of cheese. Cook the bacon until crispy, then crumble it into small pieces. Chop the cilantro for garnishing.
- 7 Remove the potatoes from the oven: Once the potatoes are baked to perfection, remove them from the oven using oven mitts or a kitchen towel to avoid burning yourself.
- 8 Create a potato pocket: Carefully make a slit or cross cut on top of each potato to create a pocket. Be cautious not to cut all the way through; you want the potato to hold its shape.
- 9 Add the butter and cheese: Place 1 tablespoon of butter inside each potato pocket, allowing it to melt and coat the insides. Stuff the potatoes with the shredded cheese, ensuring it melts nicely inside the potato.
- 10 Add the flavor: Sprinkle FlavorGod Everything Bagel Seasoning on each potato.
- 11 Add the bacon and garnish: Top each stuffed potato with the crumbled bacon and garnish with chopped cilantro for a burst of freshness.
- 12 Finish with sour cream: Put a dollop of sour cream on top and serve the baked potatoes hot.
