INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Preheat the oven: Set your oven to 350°F. Lightly grease a roasting pan or baking dish.
- 2 Prepare the turkey: Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels. If the roast comes in oven-safe netting, leave it in place according to the package instructions.
- 3 Make the lemon garlic butter: In a small bowl, combine softened butter, olive oil, Flavor God Lemon & Garlic Seasoning, lemon juice, rosemary, thyme, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- 4 Season the turkey: Rub the lemon garlic butter mixture evenly over the turkey breast. If the turkey has skin, gently spread some of the mixture underneath the skin for extra flavor.
- 5 Prepare for roasting: Place the turkey breast in the roasting pan. Arrange lemon slices around it and pour chicken broth into the bottom of the pan.
- 6 Roast: Place in the oven uncovered and roast for approximately 1½–2 hours, depending on the size and shape of the turkey breast. If the top browns too quickly, loosely cover with aluminum foil. Cook until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part reaches 165°F.
- 7 Rest and slice: Remove the turkey from the oven, loosely cover with foil, and let rest for 15 minutes before slicing. This helps keep the turkey juicy and tender.
- 8 Serve: Arrange the sliced turkey on a platter and spoon some of the warm pan juices over the top. Garnish with fresh lemon slices and herbs if desired.
