INGREDIENTS

  • 1 LB Italian Duck Sausage
  • 1 Tablespoon Coarse Salt (adjust to taste)
  • ½ Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
  • ½ Cup Fine Diced Onion
  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Rosemary, Chopped
  • 1 Teaspoon Thyme
  • 2 Tablespoon Butter
  • ½ Cup White Wine
  • ¼ Cup Orange Juice
  • ½ Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon FlavorGod Garlic Lover's Seasoning
  • 1 Bell Pepper, Diced
  • 2 Cans Pillsbury Crescent Rolls

With garlic being the headliner, it happily shares the spotlight with other completing flavors such as: Onion, basil, thyme and parsley. Always ground fresh and with a low amount of sea salt, Garlic Lovers will be your friend for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. 1 Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Add the Italian duck sausage and sear them on both sides until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
  2. 2 In a large grill-safe pan, combine the seared sausages, white wine, fine diced onion, and diced bell pepper.
  3. 3 Place the pan on a preheated grill set to 225°F (107°C). Cook for 1 hour, allowing the flavors to meld.
  4. 4 In a medium saucepan, melt the Butter over medium heat. Add the remaining fine diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. 5 Stir in the orange juice, heavy cream, coarse salt, thyme, white wine, brown sugar, and ground black pepper.
  6. 6 Simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly. Add the chopped fresh rosemary and remove from heat.
  7. 7 Preheat your grill to 275°F (135°C).
  8. 8 Unroll the Pillsbury crescent rolls and wrap each sausage, making sure to pinch the seams to seal.
  9. 9 Place the wrapped sausages on the grill. Grill for about 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. 10 During the last 5 minutes of grilling, brush the sausages with melted butter and sprinkle FlavorGod Garlic Lover's Seasoning on top.
  11. 11 Remove the sausages from the grill and serve them with the sautéed vegetables and a generous drizzle of the prepared orange sauce. Enjoy!
