Love it and all the rest of the seasonings
This rub is not like ANY Jamaican Jerk recipe I have ever used. Its missing the prevalent flavors of what makes a true Jamaican Jerk seasoning. Allspice, nutmeg, and cumin are so mild, I can't consider this to be a true jerk seasoning. It's good on its own right,. but I cant call it a Jamaican Jerk seasoning.
I sprinkled a ton of this on a pork steak and then grilled it. I could barely taste it and had to finish off the steak after grilling it with some Cajun seasoning to get the flavor I wanted. I have had Jamaican Jerk seasoning on other dishes and it was very flavorful so not sure why this batch didn't please me.
